Description
The Twelve has become one of the most successful and recognisable designs in Christopher Ward’s modern catalogue. Since its launch it has been widely well received, not just as a single model but as a platform, expanding across sizes, materials and dial options while keeping a clear and consistent identity. At its core, it is an integrated sports watch designed to sit comfortably between sport and dress and to be worn regularly rather than treated as a statement piece.
The Astral Blue version combines the 40mm titanium Twelve with a blue fumé dial that gradually darkens towards the edge. The effect is subtle rather than dramatic, but it adds depth and helps break up what could otherwise be a very simple dial. The lightweight Grade 2 titanium case and bracelet make it exceptionally comfortable to wear, while the COSC-certified Sellita SW300-1 reinforces its more premium specification.
It's also one of my personal favourites. The gradient works particularly well with the textured dial, giving the watch a bit more character without distracting from the design. Like the best versions of the Twelve, it feels balanced, well judged and easy to wear every day.

Condition and performance
The watch is in very good condition with some light signs of wear.
Supplied on a CW bracelet with no micro-adjust and quick release lugs showing light marks consistent with wear. Complete with all spare links.
Comes boxed with COSC certificate, cleaning cloth and owner’s manual. No warranty card, but it will come with a 2 year Ward Hoard warranty.

Strap options
Head only: £150 reduction
Replacement of existing bracelet for a standard unworn CW rubber strap: £100 reduction
Additional standard unworn CW strap: £50 increase
Subject to availability, standard unworn CW strap is the black rubber twelve strap.
