Description
For a long time CW was missing a proper everyday automatic. There were strong divers and interesting one‑offs, but nothing that really nailed the idea of a watch you could put on every morning and not think about. When the Sealander arrived in April 2021, they got the fundamentals right straight away. The design was clean without being dull, the proportions were well judged and the watch felt solid without feeling precious. It worked on a bracelet or a strap and never felt out of place.
The 36 mm version of the Sealander arrived in 2022, expanding the line beyond its original 39 mm format. It kept the same core design but adjusted the proportions to better suit smaller wrists and those looking for something more compact. Nothing fundamental changed, but the reduced size gave the watch a slightly different feel on the wrist while keeping the same straightforward everyday focus.
Introduced in April 2026 as part of the second-generation Sealander upgrade, the C63 Sealander GMT 36 retained the compact proportions of the original model but incorporated a series of refinements across the range. These included a redesigned and slimmer Light-catcher™ case, revised dial and handset details, and an upgraded Sellita SW330-2 GMT movement regulated to tolerances of-5 to +12 seconds per day. The movement continues to allow the wearer to track a second time zone via an independently adjustable GMT hand, while offering a minimum power reserve of 56 hours. The result is a watch that builds on the strengths of the original without losing sight of what made the Sealander such a successful everyday watch in the first place

Condition and performance
The watch is in very good condition with just some light marks on the bezel.
Supplied on a CW latest iLink bracelet in very good condition showing light marks consistent with use. Complete with all links.
Comes boxed with warranty booklet and card, owner’s manual and cleaning cloth.
