Description
The C8 Flyer Mk2 was introduced in August 2017, bringing the Flyer back into the catalogue with revised steel and DLC case options and an updated dial. The design remained rooted in the original Flyer concept, itself inspired by the Smiths cockpit clock used in the Spitfire. By this point the smaller version had been dropped, leaving the Flyer exclusively in its original 44mm format.
This example is the automatic version. The dial remains focused on legibility, with large numerals, strong contrast and a layout that is easy to read at a glance. The updates from the earlier Flyer bring it bang up to date with the dial feeling cleaner and more refined while retaining the instrument-inspired look that defined the model from the outset. It remains one of the most distinctive aviation watches Christopher Ward has produced.

Condition and performance
The watch is in very good condition with only minor signs of careful use. It ceased production in March 2019, so this is a later archive release.
Supplied on a used CW vintage oak leather strap.
Comes boxed with cleaning cloth and warranty booklet/card.
