WH2000AA C63 Sealander Rocks Turquoise 36mm automatic Limited Edition prototype (07/2026)
Quick facts
Reference: C63 Sealander Automatic 36mm
Category: Adventure
Size: Small
Movement: Automatic
Condition: Very good
CW (manufacturer) warranty: Expires July 2031
Buy it if you want: a small Sealander with a dial colour that shifts.
Description
For a long time CW was missing a proper everyday automatic. There were strong divers and interesting one‑offs, but nothing that really nailed the idea of a watch you could put on every morning and not think about. When the Sealander arrived in April 2021, they got the fundamentals right straight away. The design was clean without being dull, the proportions were well judged and the watch felt solid without feeling precious. It worked on a bracelet or a strap and never felt out of place.
Released in October 2025, the C63 Sealander Rocks Collection is a series of four watches (150 per colour) using the 36 mm C63 Sealander case, and with dials created from four natural stones: Malachite, Yellow Tiger’s Eye, Charoite and Turquoise. The Turquoise version uses a natural stone dial with the distinctive bright blue-green colouring for which the material is known. Natural variations in tone, pattern and veining mean that every dial is unique, with no two examples exactly alike. The rest of the watch remains unchanged, with the standard Sealander layout, applied indices and handset, and the same 36 mm case and proportions.
Condition and performance
Sold as nearly new, the watch is in excellent condition, with just the lightest of marks on the bezel. It’s marked number XXX of 150 indicating that it is a prototype. However, I can’t see that there is any difference with the regular model.
Supplied on an extra small black CW Seta leather strap in unworn condition.
Comes boxed with card directing you to the owner’s manual, cleaning cloth and warranty booklet/card.
Timegrapher: Approximately -5 seconds per day.
Strap options
Head only: £40 reduction
Replacement of existing strap for a standard unworn CW strap: £20 increase
Additional standard unworn CW strap: £50 increase
Subject to availability, standard unworn CW straps comprise vintage oak leather, hybrid, rubber and tropic.
