Description
The C70 Monte Carlo (C70MC) was released in the summer of 2011 as a limited edition of 500 pieces. While not one of the original six C70 Grand Prix watches, it was among the earliest models to expand the C70 range beyond Grand Prix racing. The watch commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Monte Carlo Rally, one of motorsport's most famous and enduring events, first run in 1911.
Using the red and white colours of the Principality of Monaco, reflected on both the dial and caseback, the C70MC captures the spirit of the rally and its long association with the principality. Its standout feature is a striking carbon-effect dial, whose textured surface evokes the high-performance materials and engineering of modern motorsport. Against this dark backdrop, vivid flashes of red provide contrast and energy, giving the watch a dynamic character that recalls the speed, drama and intensity of rally competition.
The C70MC demonstrated the versatility of the C70 platform, showing how Christopher Ward could successfully move beyond the original Grand Prix theme while retaining the bold design, motorsport inspiration and historical storytelling that made the collection so distinctive.

Condition and performance
The watch is in excellent condition - it’s barely been worn. It’s a one-owner watch, owned from new.
Supplied on its original CW leather motorsport strap in excellent condition.
Comes in its original CW box with covering letter, original invoice, owner’s manual, letter telling you that the owner’s manual is out of stock and will be provided at a later date and cleaning cloth - a complete set.
Timegrapher: N/a quartz movement.
Strap options
Subject to availability, standard unworn CW straps comprise vintage oak leather, hybrid, rubber and tropic.
