Description
For a long time CW was missing a proper everyday automatic. There were strong divers and interesting one‑offs, but nothing that really nailed the idea of a watch you could put on every morning and not think about. When the Sealander arrived in April 2021, they got the fundamentals right straight away. The design was clean without being dull, the proportions were well judged and the watch felt solid without feeling precious. It worked on a bracelet or a strap and never felt out of place.
Released in October 2025, the C63 Sealander Rocks Collection is a series of four watches (150 per colour) using the 36 mm C63 Sealander case, and with dials created from four natural stones: Malachite, Yellow Tiger’s Eye, Charoite and Turquoise. The Yellow Tiger’s Eye version uses a natural stone dial with a characteristic banded structure. The surface shows linear variations in tone across the dial, typically shifting between golden brown and darker bands depending on how the material was cut. Each dial will vary slightly as a result. The rest of the watch remains unchanged, with the standard Sealander layout, applied indices and handset, and the same 36 mm case and proportions.
