Description
Released in August 2015 in collaboration with TMB Art Metal, the C9 GT40 #P‑1075 is a limited edition of just 40 pieces created to mark the car’s back‑to‑back victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1968 and 1969. The connection is more than just conceptual. Set into the caseback is a laser‑cut aluminium disc taken from the wheel spinner of the original GT40 #P‑1075 itself, giving the watch a direct physical link to the car it references.
Speedometer‑inspired numerals, an inclined outer dial ring and a power‑reserve indicator styled like a rev counter give it a clear motorsport identity without relying on chronograph scales or overt racing colours. The power‑reserve in particular is the detail that makes it work for me: it adds mechanical interest, reinforces the automotive theme and gives the dial something to engage with beyond simple timekeeping.

Condition and performance
The watch is in very good condition with only minor signs of careful use.
Supplied on its original CW leather strap in very good condition.
Comes in the latest CW box with cleaning cloth and owner’s manual.
Timegrapher: Approximately +2 seconds per day.
