WH1893F C60 Trident COSC 600 SH21 (01/2019)

£1,245.00

Quick facts

Description

The C60 Trident Mk2 refined rather than reinvented what came before it. Building on the Mk1, it replaced aluminium bezels with ceramic, shifted dial markers from pips to batons, upsized the crown and doubled water resistance from 300m to 600m, establishing the Trident Pro 600 identity. The automatic range expanded significantly in both size and colour, and the line matured into something broader and more confident. Later Mk2 evolutions brought the move to the 9‑o’clock wordmark logo, and taken as a whole, the Mk2 era is where the Trident became the modern CW diver most people recognise.

Within that Mk2 family, the C60 Trident Pro 600 COSC LE SH21 represented a very different kind of high‑point. Launched in January 2015 as a limited edition of 300 pieces, it took the 43 mm Pro 600 case and paired it with the automatic version of Christopher Ward’s in‑house SH21 movement. Rated as a COSC chronometer and offering a five‑day power reserve, it marked one of the earliest occasions where CW placed its new movement into a full‑spec professional dive watch rather than a dress‑led case.

Visually, the watch remains restrained by Mk2 standards. The white dial gives it a cleaner, more technical look than many of the darker Pro 600 variants, while the familiar Trident layout keeps everything legible and functional. There is no attempt to dress the watch up as a statement piece.

Think of it like a sleeper sports saloon with twin exhausts tucked neatly underneath. It looks clean and sensible at first glance, but those who know understand there’s something serious going on beneath the surface. There’s the signs for those that know. The slightly thicker case, the framed date, the small “5 DAY AUTOMATIC CHRONOMETER” text, the CALIBRE SH21 embossed on the back.
