Description
For a long time CW was missing a proper everyday automatic. There were great divers and interesting one‑offs, but nothing that really nailed the brief of a watch you could put on every morning and not think about. When the Sealander arrived in April 2021 they pretty much hit it out of the park. The 39mm size worked for most wrists and the case wore slimmer than the numbers suggested. The design was straightforward, it worked on a bracelet or a strap and it didn’t look out of place in any setting.
The C63 Sealander Elite takes the core Sealander design and dials it up a notch or three. Its defining features are:
It uses a 40mm Grade 2 titanium case, resulting in an exceptionally light watch on the wrist, to the point where it is barely noticeable in daily wear. The watch head weights a mere 45g - about the same as a large strawberry or one chicken nugget!
it has a retractable crown, which sits flush with the case when not in use - a triumph of engineering usually only found on watches costing many multiples of this one.
it features cut‑outs in the dial beneath the applied markers. Supposedly to save weight (which must be negligible), it looks cool and when held up to the light it becomes possible to see straight through the watch..
Power comes from a chronometer‑certified Sellita SW200‑1, reinforcing the Elite’s focus on precision within an otherwise familiar Sealander layout.

Condition and performance
The watch is in very good condition with light signs of wear.
Supplied on a CW black and orange hybrid strap with titanium buckle in great condition.
Comes boxed with owner’s manual, cleaning cloth and warranty booklet / card.
Timegrapher: Approximately +5 seconds per day.
Strap options
Subject to availability, standard unworn CW straps comprise vintage oak leather, hybrid, rubber and tropic.
