Description
For a long time CW was missing a proper everyday automatic. There were great divers and interesting one‑offs, but nothing that really nailed the brief of a watch you could put on every morning and not think about. When the Sealander arrived in April 2021, they pretty much hit it out of the park.
The 39mm size is spot on for most wrists and the watch wears slimmer than you’d expect. It feels well made without feeling precious and the design is clean without being dull. It works on a bracelet or a strap and doesn’t look out of place in any setting. Now available in a variety of sizes and colours, if someone asked me to recommend a first automatic watch for daily wear this would be the one, hands down.

Condition and performance
The watch is in very good condition with visible but light signs of wear.
Supplied on a CW vintage oak leather strap showing light marks consistent with wear. Complete with all spare links.
Comes boxed (missing plastic insert) with owner’s manual (some creasing on outside cover), cleaning cloth and warranty booklet / card.
Timegrapher: Approximately +1 seconds per day.
Strap options
Subject to availability, standard unworn CW straps comprise vintage oak leather, hybrid, rubber and tropic.
