Description
The C3 Malvern Chronograph was released in June 2005 alongside the C5 Malvern Automatic, forming one half of Christopher Ward’s original launch lineup. From the outset, the two watches set out different priorities: the C5 established the brand’s credentials in mechanical watchmaking, while the C3 focused on accessibility and functionality through a quartz chronograph. Positioned as a versatile everyday watch rather than a specialist tool, the C3 played an important role in defining CW’s early approach, combining traditional styling with modern practicality at a time when the brand was still finding its footing.
The Mk II C3 Malvern Chronograph built on that earlier Mk I foundation with a tidier, more resolved execution while retaining the same underlying quartz chronograph concept. The C3 Malvern Chronograph Mk II LE Green is a version of the Mk II released in June 2015 as one of two limited editions of 100 pieces, the other being purple. The proximity of the launch to the annual Wimbledon Championships may well point to the inspiration for these editions! Aside from dial colour, the watch retains the standard Mk II specification and layout.

Condition and performance
The watch is in good condition with light signs of wear.
Supplied on a CW strap in used condition with marks from use.
Comes boxed with cleaning cloth but without papers.
Strap options
Few other options as it is a 18mm lug width watch and CW doesn’t make straps in this size any more. Please send us a message if you’d like us to try and find some options.
