Buy it if you want: A full‑fat titanium Trident where capability is the point, not the numbers.
Description
The C60 Trident Elite 1000 Titanium takes the settled Mk3 Pro 600 design and pushes it firmly into the extremes. Built from Grade 2 titanium, it combines a full 1000‑metre depth rating with surprisingly low weight, making it far easier to live with than its numbers suggest. The Mk3 Light‑Catcher case does a lot of the heavy lifting here, keeping the watch wearable and well balanced despite its height of around 15cm. This is a big diver, but not a clumsy one.
In its blue day/date configuration, the Elite feels purposeful rather than experimental. The added day display gives the dial a slightly busier, more utilitarian feel than the limited edition, reinforcing the sense that this is the “production answer” rather than a statement piece. An exhibition caseback adds a rare touch of transparency for a watch of this capability, but overall the focus remains on function and presence. This is the Trident taken to its logical extreme: lighter, deeper‑rated and more unapologetic than the core Pro models, but still clearly part of the same resolved Mk3 family.
