Description
The C60 Sapphire marked one of the more ambitious material experiments in the modern Trident line. Rather than treating sapphire as a novelty, CW used it as a way of rethinking the dial itself, layering depth, translucency and light into what was otherwise a fully resolved Mk3 Pro 600 design. The result was a diver that felt more architectural than decorative, using transparency to add visual interest without compromising legibility or capability. It was a reminder that by this point the Trident was stable enough to support genuine experimentation.
Introduced in November 2020, the C60 Blue Limited Edition builds directly on that idea. Designed in collaboration with Blue Marine Foundation (BLUE), it takes the sapphire‑dial concept and gives it a clear environmental focus. The transparent sapphire dial is overlaid with BLUE’s wave emblem, creating a layered effect that shifts with the light rather than sitting flat on the surface. Limited to 500 piecesand housed in the 40mm Mk3 Pro 600 case, the C60 Blue became only the second CW diver to combine a ceramic bezel with a sapphire dial. The bezel is filled with Super‑LumiNova® Grade X1 BL C1, adding strong low‑light performance to what is otherwise a visually distinctive piece. It doesn’t change what the Trident is, but it shows how far the platform had come — confident enough to carry a message without losing its identity as a serious dive watch.

Condition and performance
The watch is in very good condition with visible but light signs of wear.
Supplied on a CW tide strap in used condition.
Comes boxed with owner’s manual, cleaning cloth and warranty booklet/card.
Timegrapher: Approximately +8 seconds per day.

Subject to availability, standard unworn CW straps comprise vintage oak leather, hybrid, rubber and tropic.
