Released in April 2022, it’s not difficult to see that Blancpain Fifty Fathoms was clearly the inspiration for CW’s nod to the golden age of dive watches. However, it is unmistakably CW’s take with its light-catcher case that brings the older design queues of the curved sapphire bezel and domed crystal bang up to date.
What really makes the Aquitaine stand out is how well it wears for a 41mm diver. The case is slimmer than you might expect, sits nicely on the wrist and never feels top heavy. It has enough presence to feel like a proper tool watch, but it is refined enough for everyday wear without feeling like overkill. If you like the Blancpain look but want something modern, wearable and realistically priced, the Aquitaine makes a very strong case for itself.

Condition and performance
The watch is in very good condition with visible but light signs of wear.
Supplied on a CW tropic strap in very good condition.
Comes boxed with owner’s manual, cleaning cloth and warranty booklet/card.
Timegrapher: Approximately +13 seconds per day.

Subject to availability, standard unworn CW straps comprise vintage oak leather, hybrid, rubber and tropic.
