Description
Released in April 2022, the Aquitaine draws heavily on the design language of classic mid‑century dive watches, most notably the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. In the bronze version, these vintage cues are emphasised further by the warm tone of the case. The design is clearly contemporary in execution, however, with a curved sapphire bezel insert, domed sapphire crystal and CW’s light‑catcher case profile.
Although sized at 41 mm, the Aquitaine wears smaller than its dimensions suggest. The case is relatively slim for a dive watch and sits low on the wrist, which helps with comfort and balance. It has enough visual weight to feel like a functional dive watch without being overly bulky or top‑heavy.
The bronze case will naturally develop patina over time, changing in appearance with wear. Aside from the material choice, the watch maintains the same overall proportions and layout as the steel Aquitaine, making it a practical everyday diver that combines traditional styling with modern materials and finishing.

Condition and performance
The watch is in excellent condition with no notable issues.
Supplied on a CW Vintage oak leather strap in lightly used condition.
Comes boxed with owner’s manual, cleaning cloth and warranty booklet/card. Note that there is no COSC certificate and the box is the latest smaller CW box.

Strap options
Subject to availability, standard unworn CW straps comprise vintage oak leather, hybrid, rubber and tropic.
