Christopher Ward C1 Grand Malvern Worldtimer
Introduction
The JJ03 calibre, designed by Johannes Jahnke, was originally introduced for the C9 World Timer. When the new World Timer was introduced in 2018 as part of the C1 Grand Malvern collection, considerable reworking of the movement was necessary.
The original 24-hour dial was reconfigured to a standard 12 hour dial, while the 24-hour GMT ring moves around the dial and the world map. The watch also features a world cities ring and an orange segments on the map to show the chosen time zone. Owing to the complexities of this movement, a 43.5 mm case was used. With a height of 11.5mm, it does hug the wrist nicely.
Warranty
It comes with a Ward Hoard six month warranty.
Strap
Fitted with a brand new CW vintage oak tan leather strap.
If you’d rather it head only (i.e. without a strap), a discount of £40.
If you’d prefer something else, please ask and I can give you some options.
Condition
This is a used watch offered in good condition with no noteworthy marks, scratches.
It is keeping very good time on the timegrapher.
It come with a full set - box, owner’s manual, warranty card and cleaning cloth.
