CHRISTOPHER WARD C2 LIDO
Introduction
The C2 Lido launched in 2008 and was Christopher Ward’s first 40mm watch. As well as being the only 40mm CW watch at the time, it was (at the time) also the only CW watch to feature the unusual ‘centre cut’ lug and strap arrangement - the precursor to the Twelve!
It’s a tidy and pretty slim (8.5mm) dress style watch with very subtle vertical grooves on the face which you catch in some lights.
Condition
It’s an almost 15 year old watch and is in lovely condition for its age with the bezel and case being clean.
It’s fitted with the original CW black leather strap which is also in pretty good condition. As an integrated strap, there are no alternatives really unless you get one custom made.
It comes complete with both boxes and owner’s manual with certificate of authenticity, covering letter and cleaning cloth. A really lovely example.
