CHRISTOPHER WARD C7 RAPIDE CHRONOGRAPH MKII ITALIAN RACING RED

Introduction

Released in January 2014 as a limited edition of 500 pieces, this is a COSC-rated version of the C7 Rapide Chronograph MKII in Italian Racing Red with a 12 hour chronograph register in the 9:00 position, and the chronograph minute and seconds hands mounted centrally.

This fabulous example was donated to Cocoon, Care after Care, a charity that exists to improve the quality of life for care-experienced young adults across Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow boroughs. Cocoon got in touch with me and I’m delighted to help them sell it. I’m taking no fee or commission, so all of the proceeds will go to support the invaluable work that they do.

I’ve priced it at the minimum that I think it is worth (being the rarer, COSC version, and its pristine, potentially unworn condition). Of course, you are welcome to offer more - again, just to reiterate, all proceeds with no deductions, will get paid to Cocoon.

Warranty

It comes with a three month Ward Hoard warranty.

Condition

It is stunning. It may even be unworn (as the tag is still on the strap). Either way, it has clearly spent most of its life in the box. The bezel in particular often gets scratched and marked with the C7s- this one is a superb example in immaculate condition.

The light dances beautifully off the applied numerals.

It comes with a completely full set - its owner’s manual and certificate of authenticity, COSC certificate, covering letter and cleaning cloth.

Strap options

It has the original CW rubber/silicone strap and this one, same as the head, is in wonderful condition and may well be unworn. The CW tag is still affixed to the strap.
