Halios Universa
Introduction
Whilst it’s mostly about CW, it’s not all about CW. There are some fantastic other brands out there that I’ve had as part of my own collection that operate a similar space to CW. I’m not talking your Rolex, Omega or Tudor, more your Halios, Pinion, Monta, anOrdian or Zero West.
This is one such smaller brand. Halios is a Canadian microbrand watch company founded in 2009 by Jason Lim in Vancouver, Canada. Jason is a lovely guy and a real eye for design and colour particularly. The pastel blue featured here was introduced well before others (like Rolex!) jumped on the band wagon. Halios has a real cult following amongst watch enthusiasts and they are never easy to get hold of.
I currently have three in my own collection and it is a close run thing between this and CW for my favourite brand.
Condition
Great condition with some light scratches to the bezel. Comes with its original luxury Halios leather pouch and with its integrated bracelet which has a ‘no-tool’ ratchet mechanism like CW. Complete with all spare links.
Timing is very good as shown on the timegrapher.
Warranty
It comes with a three month Ward Hoard warranty.
