Introduction
Bremont doesn’t need much introduction as probably the British ‘premium’ watch brand (although CW is snapping at its heels). I’m a big fan - I had the steel version of this Broadsword in my own collection for a couple of years, which was a fabulous watch, superb quality.
The Bremont Broadsword Bronze is part of Bremont's Armed Forces Collection, designed with military heritage in mind. Its case is made of CuSn8 bronze, a durable alloy that develops a patina over time. The watch has a diameter of 40mm and a steel screw-in case back engraved with the badges of the British Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force.
It features three dial colors—slate (this one), sotek (green-blue), and tobacco—with Super-LumiNova® for better readability in low light. Inside, it is powered by the BE-95-2AV automatic movement, providing a 38-hour power reserve. The watch has a water resistance of up to 100 meters and comes with a leather strap.
This watch meets chronometer standards and incorporates details inspired by the "Dirty Dozen" military watches issued during WWII.
Condition
The watch itself is in very good condition and with, the case being bronze, it has picked up some light marks. It has just been taken back to raw bronze with some vinegar so it is ready to age with its new owner!.
Timing is very good at -7 spd on the timegrapher.
Comes boxed in its original packaging with receipt (faded) warranty card, Bremont ISO 3159 test certificate, owner's manual, and strap changing tool. RRP on this one is £3,450.
It comes on a lightly used Bremont leather strap. It also comes with a spare used Bremont (with missing keeper).
Warranty
The transferable Bremont warranty runs to February 2026.
