BALTIC AQUASCAPHE DUAL-CROWN BLUE
Introduction
Whilst it’s mostly about CW, it’s not all about CW. There are some fantastic other brands out there that I’ve had as part of my own collection that operate a similar space to CW. I’m not talking your Rolex, Omega or Tudor, more your Halios, Pinion, Monta, anOrdian or Zero West.
While Christopher Ward is the core of Ward Hoard, I’ve always had time for smaller, independent brands that bring something fresh to the table. Baltic is one of those. Their Aquascaphe line has earned serious respect among enthusiasts, and the Dual Crown variant is a standout—vintage-inspired, purpose-built, and quietly distinctive.
I’ve had the chance to handle this model in person, and it’s a beautifully executed piece. It channels classic compressor-style dive watches but with Baltic’s signature minimalism and attention to detail. Slim, wearable, and with real wrist presence.
The internal rotating bezel, operated via the second crown, keeps the profile clean and the design symmetrical. It’s a subtle nod to vintage dive heritage, with modern reliability.
