Christopher Ward C8 Pilot Mk1
Introduction
Christopher Ward has a long history of making aviation-inspired watches, starting with 2006’s C5 Malvern Aviator, which was based on CW’s first ever watch, the C5 Malvern. Their next aviator was… the C8, which was first introduced in 2008 and was retired, when the last few C8 Power Reserves were sold in early 2021.
The watch for sale here is where the C8 all began: the Pilot Mk1.
Warranty
It comes with a Ward Hoard six month warranty.
Strap
Fitted with its original CW aviation leather strap with rivets. It is more than fifteen years old, stained on the inside, but looks good from the outside.
Other options - head only, discount of £20. Other straps -exchange for a brand new CW leather oak vintage strap (increase of £25)..
Condition
It’s not in bad condition for a watch that’s more than fifteen years old. It’s clearly been worn and enjoyed with commensurate marks on the bezel and lugs - please see photos.
Keeping great time at +8spd.
It comes in its original box in great condition with all papers.
