SOLD WH992 C1 Bel Canto Dragonfly Limited Edition (03/2025)
Christopher Ward C1 Bel Canto Limited Edition
Introduction
I’ve followed CW for many years now and have watched many new releases. None has had the reception of the all new Limited Edition C1 Bel Canto which sold all 300 pieces in a matter of hours - pretty impressive stuff for a watch priced near the top end of the CW scale! I suspect even CW were caught a little by surprise because they hastily released the green version the next day. That too, sold out in a matter of hours on pre-orders!
So what is the Bel Canto? The short answer is it’s a Titanium-cased special which chimes on the hour - a pretty unusual feature for a mechanical watch, I’m sure you’ll agree. The chime is switched on and off with a simple press of the button on the bottom right.
It was released to great acclaim and won the Petite Aiguille Category of The Grand Prix D’horlogerie De Genève (GPHG) - a truly prestigious award.
The Bel Canto Dragonfly uses a dial color first seen on the C63 Sealander GMT. This model was launched with limited availability with orders limited to CW showrooms and events.
Condition and warranty
It’s a one owner watch that is in great condition. It comes with box, manual, warranty booklet and card, polishing cloth. It comes with on the titanium bracelet that is in great condition as well as an extra dragonfly blue rubber strap with correct ti buckle.
It has the CW warranty valid to March 2030.
Timekeeping is showing pretty respectable time at +6 spd on the timegrapher.
