Christopher Ward C4 Peregrine Chronograph Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Special Edition.

Christopher Ward created the C4 model in 2006 as their third watch - following the C3 and C5 which were their first two models.

This C4 BBMF Special Edition was launched at the end of 2010 and was sold out by early 2011. It was created to commemorate the famous RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - a set of ten priceless and still airworthy planes including six Spitfires, two Hurricanes, a Lancaster and others you can read about here. It’s well worth following their Facebook page for details of flights and where they can be seen in action.

The C4 is Christopher Ward's only watch to use the ISA 8174-220 quartz movement, making it unique as the only CW watch to feature an alarm function. The alarm time is set by adjusting the red 'alarm' hand and the bottom left button switches it on and off: two beeps for on and one beep for off.

Condition

The watch head appears to be in perfect condition, although being a used watch there may be signs of use under magnified inspection.

The original black leather strap is in great condition - clearly only been worn very sparingly.

The original storage case has various knocks to the outside and the watch roll is not original.

It comes with the original user manual and Certificate of Authenticity showing it to be a November 2010 watch. The original covering letter is signed by Christopher Wards himself!

In summary, it’s very rare for a C4 BBMF to come up for sale, but even more rare to get one in this great condition!
