CHRISTOPHER WARD C7 RAPIDE QUARTZ CHRONOGRAPH MKII

This watch has to be one of the most cost-effective ways to get a Christopher Ward on your wrist.

It’s C7 Rapide Chronograph MkII ‘baton face’ - (there was also a ‘V390’ model which had numbers as the hour markers instead of batons).

The C7 Rapide Mk2 was introduced in 2012 and ran until its retirement in 2017. This particular watch dates from December 2015, so at the time of writing, it’s just over seven years old.

For most CW quartz chronographs the 1/10th of a second hand only moves into position once the timer is stopped, but thanks to the Ronda 3540.D used in MkIIs, it features a constantly sweeping 10th-sec chrono dial (the top one), which I think makes for a more satisfying user experience!

Condition

The watch head is in almost new condition - a very very nice example. The alloy bezel (which are known to get marked on more well used examples) is in perfect condition - as is the Sapphire.

It’s fitted with a black CW soft-touch leather strap with quick-release spring bars. The strap has been used on multiple watches, so has seem more wear than the head, but it’s still in nice condition and has lots of life left in it. The grey stitching and grey leather lining are a perfect match for this model. Note the tang buckle is un-branded stainless steel - not the original CW item.

Comes supplied in a Christopher Ward travel pod. Also included are the original user book with Certificate of Authenticity and a copy of the standard CW covering letter.

Battery age is unknown and is not covered by the 90 day Ward Hoard warranty.
