CHRISTOPHER WARD C600 TRI-TECH DIVER ELITE

Christopher Ward launched the C600 Tri-Tech Diver Elite a month before the Mk1 C60 in August 2009. The 300m-rated C60 cost £300, whereas the 500m-rated C600 with is Tritium gas tubes and Helium release valve cost £400 - making it CW’s flagship dive watch at the time - an honour currently held by the £1,250 C60 Elite.

The C600 was available with three different face options: blue, black (with green hands and markers) and the yellow you see here. Both the yellow and blue versions feature deep ‘sunburst’ type dials which look stunning when the light catches them. While the C600 was never offered with a bracelet, the black bracelets from Mk2 C60 Vintage models will fit (as will the PVD Titanium bracelet if you can find one!).

Condition
Offered in 99.9% new condition, still with original vinyl sticker on the case back in place - you won’t find a better one! It has been worn, so you might find signs of use under magnified inspection, but I couldn’t see any with a naked eye!

The protrusions on the bezel can be a magnet for knocks, so it’s common to see C600s looking rather sorry for themselves. This watch has no marks or damage anywhere. If the photos appear to show any marks, they’re just light reflections, not areas of worn PVD coating.

As you can see from the timegrapher photo, it’s keeping near perfect time, well within COSC standards - although this was never a COSC certified watch.

It’s fitted with the original C600 silicone rubber strap which is also in almost new condition. With the watch nearly 13 years old, the Tritium gas tubes are no longer glowing.

Offered as a full set, box and papers including user book with certificate of authenticity, unused polishing cloth and original covering letter
