Christopher Ward C60 Trident 300 43mm

The Mk1 C60 Trident hit the watch world in 2009, but it was only available with an automatic movement. It wasn’t until 2015 and the arrival or the Mk2 Trident, that Christopher Ward introduced their first Quartz C60 model, which they named the Trident 300, after its 300m water depth rating (it’s automatic Mk2 big brother was called the Trident 600 Pro after its 600m depth rating).

In 2017 CW started replacing the previous CHR. WARD logo with its current ‘Christopher Ward’ version - I call Mk2 C60s with the later logo a ‘Mk2.5’.

For sale in this listing is a Jan 2019 watch, making it one of the later ones you’ll find - they were retired in mid 2019.

Being a quartz model, it doesn’t have the taller, tapered case back of its automatic cousin, so it sits a little lower on the wrist. For me, it actually sits much better on my 19cm wrist than the autos do!

Like the Mk1 C60s, the Mk3 also doesn’t have a quartz model available, so if you’re looking for a quartz C60, the Mk2 or Mk2.5s are your only options.

The transferable movement warranty expires/d in Jan 2024.

Condition

It’s in good used condition - just some minor blemishes here and there from use, nothing major enough for specific mention.

It is fitted with an after-market mesh strap and also comes with a brand new black Maratac composite rubber strap with orange stitching.

It’s just had a new battery and re-seal, so should be good for the next 3-4 years.

Supplied as a full set including original black case, user manual with Certificate of Authenticity, covering letter and polishing cloth.
