Christopher Ward C4 Peregrine Chronograph ‘phoenix’

Launched in 2006, the C4 Peregrine represented several firsts for Christopher Ward. It was their first to have a rotating bezel, their first (and only) watch to feature an alarm and it was their first watch to be styled in a motorsport theme. It was a popular model which remained in the range until 2011. Fast forward to 2015 and Christopher Ward found a batch of 200 unused C4 cases under their sofa, so they decided to commission a new batch of 200 faces and create a brief revival piece unofficially dubbed the C4 Phoenix. The watch for sale here is one of those 2015 phoenix watches.

Condition

It’s in extremely good used condition. It has been worn, so there are slight signs of use on the highly polished sides, but you can only see those under very close inspection. It’s fitted with the original ‘phoenix’ black leather strap which is in very good condition.

It went back to CW at the end of 2020, for a new battery, so it should provide several more years service before it needs another one.

The watch comes in the original case including outer box and includes the covering letter and owner’s handbook with Certificate of Authenticity.
