Christopher Ward C1 Grand Malvern Jumping Hour

Released in April 2017, a few months after the introduction of the new (current) Christopher Ward logo , this C1 is Christopher Ward’s fourth Jumping Hour watch, following the line of C9 Mk1, 2 and 3.

This C1 version has a far more sleek and modern look and feel compared to its more slab-sided C9 predecessor.

The C1 Jumping Hour, which was available with black, white and blue faces, had a relatively short release window of just under two years, having been retired at the end of 2018. The watch in this listing is an ‘archive find’, which was sold by CW and bought by us in January 2020, so the (transferable) movement warranty is valid until Jan 2025.

The selling price when these were available was £1,400, although that was with a choice of Cordovan leather or stainless mesh strap. This particular watch is fitted with a CW black, smooth, oak leather strap with its quick-release pins and black stitching. Replacements are available from CW here.

It’s in brand new, never worn condition. Being a retired model, CW no longer has any hard copies of the owner manual, so instead it comes with a Warranty Card and covering letter directing you to the PDF version mentioned below.
